Baseball Organizations

	AAABA - All American Amateur Baseball Association
	In 1944 Glen L. Martin of Baltimore, MD gathered representatives from ten major cities across the eastern part of the United States to form an organization called the AAABA whose goal would be devoted to the promotion of amateur baseball. Mr. Martin backed his idea with his own money in the early years and, his upon his death in December 1955, he provided a substantial bequest to perpetuate the organization. 	AABC - American Amateur Baseball Congress
	The American Baseball Congress was founded in March, 1935, with the assistance of the Athletic Institute. Its first national tournament was conducted in Dayton, Ohio, in September of 1935. Since that time, the American Amateur Baseball Congress has been a ladder on which hundreds of players have climbed to professional baseball fame. But primarily, it has remained a means of stimulating better hometown or neighborhood baseball.

	ABCA - American Baseball Coaches Association
	ABCA provides the opportunity to be part of over 5,700 coaches furthering the education and promotion of the game of amateur baseball

	American Legion Baseball
	Since 1925, The American Legion has sponsored a nationwide youth baseball program. During these past seven decades, millions of young players have enjoyed playing baseball. The American Legion and their 2.8 million members have raised millions of dollars each year for players to learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship. The American Legion sponsors American Legion Baseball to give players an opportunity to develop their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities and to have fun.

	CABA - Continental Amateur Baseball Association
	The object of CABA is to teach the youth and young adults of the world the intricacies of the sport of baseball and to develop and perpetuate in them, an interest in and love for the game, and to provide a meeting place for them to compete in tournament competition leading to state, regional, and world series championships in their respective age classifications.

	NABF - National Amateur Baseball Alliance
	NABF is a nonprofit organization, in its 91st season, hosting regional and national Championship tournaments held coast to coast. These tournaments range in age divisions from 9 and under to unlimited age. Learn more.

	Nations Baseball
	Nations Baseball was formed to bring together the best elements in youth baseball today. Starting with advanced technology, the Nations Baseball website features the most complete roster system and team classification system in the country. Teams compete in Metro, Select, Elite and Premier, leagues and tournaments around the nation with opportunities to attend World Series events in the most attractive locations in the country.

	NBC - Hap Dumont Baseball
	Established as an annual Kansas non-professional tournament, the NBC was all things to all players. For the young prospects it was a springboard to professional stardom; to the sandlotter it represented an arena in which he could compete with others of equal talent. To the former pros, the NBC was a place to spend the twilight summers of their careers. Today, the NBC is one of the most respected baseball operations in the world with teams from Alaska to Alabama, California to Conneticut and points in between, meeting annually in Wichita for the National Tournament.

	USA Baseball
	Due to an act of Congress in 1978, USA Baseball is the National Governing Body for the sport and represents amateur baseball in America as a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International Baseball Association (IBAF). Virtually every major national amateur baseball organization in America is united as a USA Baseball National Member. As a result, USA Baseball governs more than 20 million amateur players in ballparks and playgrounds across the country.

	National Alliance for Youth Sports
	The National Alliance For Youth Sports (NAYS) is America's leading advocate for positive and safe sports and activities for children. The non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Today, NAYS offers programs and services for everyone involved in youth sports experiences, including professional administrators, volunteer administrators, volunteer coaches, officials, parents and young athletes. 	Perfect Game USA is devoted to furthering the development and career of the talented high school baseball player. To that end, Perfect Game USA produces the very highest national level individual player showcases and all over the United States.

	SANDLOTT Baseball
	Each August we invite all SANDLOTT Super League players that are rising juniors and seniors to Nashville, TN for the SANDLOTT Showcase. We have 25 to 30 schools attending each year as well as many area pro scouts.
